Before you get started with PASconcept, there is a little bit of information we need from you to set-up your instance. Follow the guide below to get started.
When each area meets the minimum criteria for PASconcept, the section will have a green check mark. When all of the sections have a green check mark, you can navigate to your PASconcept.
1.1 Company Profile
To set up your company profile in the software, follow these general steps:
- Enter company information: Enter your company’s information in the fields provided, such as the company name, address, phone number, and email address.
- Upload company logo: Upload your company logo to personalize your profile. The Company Logo is used in the header of client communication pages, such as Proposal, Invoices, Statements.
- Enter default signature: You can create and download your signature for free and upload it to PASconcept by creating your signature with signaturely.com
- Save changes: Once you have filled in all the required information and set your preferences, save the changes to complete the setup and continue.

- Email/SMS/Storage: We highly recommend to set-up your SMTP, if applies, for security purposes. To configure your Email Outgoing Settings you would need to navigate to the Settings > Company Profile > Email/SMS/Storage. Please make sure to enter your outgoing email, server, and password.
- For a better use of your time we recommend to follow the following instructions:
1.2 Departments
Each department has a specific function within the organization and plays a critical role in the company’s overall success. By working together, these departments help to ensure that the company operates efficiently and achieves its goals.
In PASconcept we classify the departments by Productive or Non-productive. As an example, a productive department would be the production department and a non-productive department would be HR & Administration department.
1.3 Employees
To enter your organization’s employees into PASconcept you can do it manually by entering the information one by one or you can use the import function by selecting the
button in the dropdown menu as shown below:

1.4 Positions
After entering your employees, you can now define the position including its hourly rate and which employees fall under that position.

1.5 Pay Periods
Payroll periods can vary depending on the employer’s preference. The specific payroll period is communicated to employees in advance, and employees are expected to submit their timesheets or record their hours worked during this period to ensure accurate payroll processing. To define your payroll period you will need to select the year, the 1st pay day and the frequency.
1.6 Time Categories
In PASconcept, the time is classified by: Productive time and Non-productive time. The Productive Time Categories directly affects activities related to a project. While Non-productive Time Categories relates to activities that doesn’t affect the project productivity.
